Review of Gintama
It's a masterpiece trust, watched it 6 times now and i'm still years later coming back to this literal masterpiece of fiction looking into shit but most importantly for it having some of the best characters as a whole and actually being one of the few anime i wouldn't be fucking embarrased to show someone who isn't into the medium. It's funny, it's got great characters that aren't forgotten decades later into the anime, it's got a good ass soundtrack mind you not the pinnacle but it's one of those series that can get away with playing the overly sad music way too much and itcan be whatever u want it to be and it's got great action when it wants to be serious.
It's got everything, the only bad thing i will say for the original Gintama is that a few arcs in my opinion aren't that good and drag on longer then they should for example the arc around 120-130 but besides that, i've basically got nothing bad to mention about it.
This is one of the few anime where the anime adaptation is also superior then the actual manga, the voice cast and soundtrack just add an entire other dynamic to an already great story.
Though u might not like it since comedy is very subjective and if u don't like the comedy i think the experience goes down quiet a bit since a lot of the earlier and even still later parts of Gintama are majorly taken up by comedy.
