Review of High School of the Dead

At the end of the day Highschool of the dead has the ecchi tag and lots of fanservice. When an anime has this association it has a job to do, and HOD does it exceptionally well! The zombie story is quite generic and it isn't very compelling, but the relationships that evolve through the crisis are. I was really happy to see no hyper-sexualized children in the cast of characters. The dialogue is outstanding and overall this anime is in the same league as DXD. All in all, an outstanding anime in the ecchi genre that manages to splash some blood around. Enjoy!
