Shakugan no Shana, has the feeling of the new hit anime "Claymore" but the violence has been lowered (just a little) and in return you get cute humour & smart-arse jokes (like having a tiny sprinkle of "Lucky Star"). This Anime collection has been really thought out, give you plenty of time to fall in love with the characters (espicaly Yuji, Kazumi & ofcause Shana) and bit by bit the story comes clear, not in a sense of teasing the viewer (or brain storming like "Ergo Proxy") but in a way to make it clear and simple to the viewer with what's going on, sothey can focus more on the main characters (which is a huge part of the story).
This collection has plenty of action, humour and an in-depth story with will make you laugh & cry at times, it is well worth the watch for most anime lovers!
This would have to be, and this really was a hard choice, but "Shakugan no Shana" is the best anime I've ever seen to date!! I love music that makes you mosh, I love beastly cars that sends chills down your spine, I love ANIME that leaves me laughing or crying, simply I love things that fill me with emotion, and "Shakungan no Shana" did this with ACES to spare!!

on a purely personal note; I really can't wait to see "Shakugan no Shana II"
