This show should be renamed: "Code Geass: Deus Ex Machina" The amount of stuff that comes out of nowhere and serves no real purpose is mind-boggling: The orange android, flight engines, VV, the ganymede, literally everything to do with Viletta etc. etc. the list could just go on forever. Then there is the main character. At first I was not looking forward to another omniscient teenager beating the world's largest and most powerful empire, but then I was surprised to see him actually lose! Then he loses again. And again, and again, and again.. Seriously, here's how every fight goes: Lelouch commits some horrific act (usually a war-crime) Ambushes Britannia They'rewinning!
Lancelot appears
They lose

This cycle becomes particularly egregious as the body count starts to soar and the nazis just keep on winning. The show constantly tries to make you question whether or not resisting a racist, genocidal continent-spanning empire is the right thing to do.

This show is an utter mess, on literally every conceivable level.
