Review of School Days

This anime is a masterpiece in deception - it leads you on, thinking it’s a story of happy romance and a nice harem, but in reality it shows how toxic these relationships can be. The reason why I rate this anime so highly is because it sets out what it intends to do: it’s SUPPOSED to make you hate its characters, it’s supposed to make them choose the stupidest fucking decisions, why? Because that’s what this anime is, a satirical take on the harem genre as a whole, kinda like Kill La Kill in a sense - a parody if you will. This anime is truly ahorror anime, it shows you how cheating and other forms of relationship abuse can psychologically affect someone to a level of no return.

I’d recommend this anime TO ANYONE that loves drama and hard to watch shows - not in terms of gore or blood, or anything like that: but in terms of dumb decisions and stupid fucking plot lines, this anime succeeds in being an amazing take on an overused anime genre.
