The first like 50 chapters are what is called filler. However, as this was the first manga i ever read, I didn't hate this. If you read this DO NOT SKIP THESE CHAPTERS. These, though boring, add to the story and make the characters seem more real. The story is kinda cliche but the characters are what makes this manga good. The art quality kinda varies from arc to arc. It is both serious and light and enjoyable and overall I enjoyed it. Recommended for those who like Fairy Tail or One Piece
