A Liar in Love · review

There is noncon here. It's... as much as it's kinda necessary for the plot to show how despicable the seme is, it's also a bit overkill. This is a story from 2010 and it SHOWS. Badly. But aside from that, I think it's a very solid 'playboy falls in love' story. The seme starts off trashy and manipulative, but the redemption arc feels believable and the groveling scene is pretty majestic. The uke is your standard meek and quiet uke, but he's showing a surprising backbone ESPECIALLY given the time it's published on. Again, the plot is solid, the pacing steady. I know how the story willunfold, but it still hurts when it happened. I also kinda enjoy the brotherly relationship between the ML and his brother, and acknowledge that the brother WILL make a good love interest too.
The only sad point I have is the ending. I feel like both the ending AND the epilogue are kinda rushed, and I really wish we could have gotten more.
