Review of Days with My Stepsister

Probably the highest quality and best looking romance anime I've ever seen. I didn't expect this good of a production for a romance anime AT ALL, but I'm so glad we got this gem. The art direction in this show is just phenomenal. Art style, animation, camera work, lighting, flashback scenes with that unique filter... It was all perfect! AND, All of that was given to a great story too. It wasn't just the usual rom-com stuff that's been seen a million times already. It was a great, slow paced and much more serious and mature story, with really nice and normal/realistic characters. The pure atmosphere ofthe show is just so mesmerizing. I was literally drawn in, the first time I saw the trailer drop. I knew I would LOVE this, and my intuition was right on point. The nice soothing music also adds to the already great atmosphere thanks to the art direction and production quality.

I'm so glad I found this gem in the ocean of 100s of romance shows dropping every year. It's just on a higher level in all aspects. It would be really good if we got S2, especially with this same quality, because the story finally got to its climax, and I think the coming plot lines would be even more interesting.
BUT, unfortunately... I don't think we'll ever get a S2 of a show like this... It's just how it usually goes. And if we do, the quality will most likely drop.
