Review of Vermeil in Gold

While it has some interesting elements, overall it's not outstanding. The MC is one step away from the nose-bleeding virgin trope. The classmate potential love interest is shrill and easily excitable. Really, the demon is the best part of it, but she's not enough to save the show, and fan service doesn't count toward that. Even the storyline seemed a bit disjointed to me and the magic system was never well defined. In this case, what you see in ep. 1 you will see more of throughout. There is some story/character development, but not enough to make me come back for another season.
