Review of BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense.

BOFURI is fun!! And Maple is awesome!!! If anyone is into light-heart fluffiness, comedy and VRMMO themes, this is must watch anime. Imagine you've just started playing online games, there would quests, level ups, dungeon bosses to kill and events, Bofuri does just this. It's an anime that does not dwell on technical details and does not lock its players in some survival game. This anime is simply fun and all the characters log into the game to have fun. Maple is the quirky, weird character who keeps increasing only her defense, she's also really sweet and an easy going airhead. The other characters eachhave their own strengths and attacks. I like Kanade, I find his powers unique.

There are not any bad things about this anime, the characters are realistic (except Maple who is good weird of course). The sound is nice, the animation and the action scenes are fluid. However there is no great plot progression with villains to defeat at the end or overly smart characters having some complicated showdown. Still, the show is funny, so definitely recommended!
