A Destructive God Sits Next to Me · review
The story isn’t exactly unique, but it doesn’t need to be — the humor and timing make it stand out. Even when some jokes are predictable, they still land because the delivery fits the genre perfectly. The characters are well-rounded — each has their own quirks and flaws that make them fun to watch, instead of just being “the smart one” or “the dumb one.” Their reactions feel natural, like how real people might respond in ridiculous situations. Of all the comedy anime I’ve watched, I think this one is the best. I really love its humor—on the same level as Saiki K. In my opinion, thisanime could even surpass Gintama if it had hundreds of episodes. Please, EMT, give this anime a continuation until the ending! 🙏🙏🙏
