Review of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc

This is a significant step up from the first season in terms of overall enjoyment. It helps immensely that Zenitsu isn't awake for a lot of it. The boar-head guy is also less annoying but still a bit scream-y at times. The final obvious positive is the animation, which is top-tier. Okay, so the story is rather basic. I debated rating it lower since not much actually happens. The first few episodes feel like they should've had more going on to up the suspense and mystery. And the rest of the episodes are just a very long fight that, while admittedly is very engaging, at theend of the day is just a single fight. But I give it points for having backstory for the new characters in the season. And then I took away points due to certain moments where the tone just flips randomly and spoils both tones a scene is going for. So I think a solid mediocre is a good place to rate the story. Characters likewise.
