Review of A Whisker Away

Since I love cats and transformation stories, of course I had to watch this. At first the main character annoyed me, but that changed throughout the story and I started to understand why she acted that way. The theme of the movie (and especially the ending) reminded me of The Cat Returns, a Ghibli movie. And though I like the characters and story more in The Cat Returns, there is one thing this film did better: the character developement of the main protagonist. The theme in both movies is "finding your true self" and I think in this case it was shown in a morereasonable way.
This movie isn't ground-breaking, but it's a nice story.
