The first season greatly impressed me, however they're beginning to run out of steam and lose some of the elements that made the first season so excellent. Re:Zero has always had a great deal of realism to the show, but they're now revealing too much information too fast, losing the horror and mystery that I enjoyed greatly in the first season, and the show is also now strongly falling into the harem genre as an absurd number of perfect young women are falling in love with the protagonist on a regular basis with little reason to do so. Definitely good still, but it's losing its edge.
