Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End
This is a really, REALLY good show. Like one of the best of the decade for sure. It is so calming and absolutely stunning. I think that it hold up in the iyashikei genre as one of THE best combinations of storytelling, character development, and pacing. Each episode is a masterpiece, and the progression of how each episode comes together to tell such a familiar yet unique story really impacts me as a viewer. I do think that this is "the" anime, it has that feel to it where everything comes together so divinely to have the full package anyone could ask for in ananime; fantasy, action, animation, story, etc. The characters feel realistic and not overly sexual in any sense, they are all loveable and the beauty is that they are just people, no one has an unlikeable personality. The animation studio really delivered a blessing unto this world with this one.
