Review of Wonder Egg Priority: My Priority
Half of it is a recap, which is usually annoying and I wanted to skip it, but given the delay between it and episode 12 I admit I actually needed (it could've just focused on ep 12 for my purpose though); the other half is actual content, even including a pretty significant development/revelation, that hardly seems deserving to be relegated to an extra episode like this. It's not an ending or an explanation of any sort, if anything it's more of a teaser for a next season. The recap reminded me of everything I hate about the show and made me wonder why I gave itsuch a high rating (6) considering it's just a clusterfuck of nonsensical and inexplicable events barely deserving more than a 3.
Then followed the new content, and it reminded me why I bumped up my rating after all - because the show somehow manages to convince me there is some method to the madness, some coherent idea that might be behind the above-mentioned clusterfuck, and I want to watch more to find it.
