Hana-Kimi · review
Hana-Kimi really is amazing! If you didn't enjoy it, then it was definetly not made for you. When I learned that the original manga had been out since 1996, I was taken aback, yet it all made perfect sense. This isn't your typical shoujo anime, particularly when the female lead poses as a man. Since there aren't many of these kinds of anime, it's really difficult to find them. If you enjoy the concept of a girl disguising herself as a man, I'm sure you will enjoy this just as much as I did! The characters are pretty pleasant, and the story was paced in apretty decent way. Another season is coming up, which is really exciting! The fact that the MC doesn't give off "y/n" vibes gave me a peace of mind as that kind of character may typically ruin the mood.
The story was pretty funny at times, too. I found myself laughing so much that it lifted my spirits with all the studying I've been doing lately.
Overall, I recommend this if you enjoy these kinds of stories. For me, it was fun and absolutely enjoyable. I kept hitting the next episode button before I had a chance to think about it since it was so engaging.
This is my first review, so I apologize if it doesn't seem so polished! English isn't my first language either, so again, I apologize for any gramatical errors. I felt so prompted to write a review when I found so many people not recommending it, which was pretty strange as there was barely much fault in it...
