I gotta say, I went into Fanpai Chushihua (Villain Initialization) not expecting much as the animation style wasn't really my style but I was honestly shocked at how fun it was to watch. From start to finish it was like I was watching video game cut scenes and I got to say I really enjoyed it. What really grabbed me though is the memory regression plot point for the MC. With the MC having knowledge of the future that he shouldn’t, it really adds to the constant tension as the timeline began to shift due to his interference. What really sets this anime apart fromothers is the protagonist himself. He’s a tech-savvy villain who is able to contend with actual superheroes and the fights are absolutely INSANE. The old brain vs brawn! If you want an anime that blends SCI-FI elements with a compelling villains origin story, Villain Initialization is definitely one worth checking out.
