A promising one-shot that might get serialized thanks to its gorgeous art. Yes, it’s a demon-hunting story, which isn’t exactly unique at this point. But the overall atmosphere gave off Jujutsu Kaisen vibes in a Demon Slayer–like world. The story introduces three characters, and while their dynamics are well established, they’re not deeply explored, likely due to the mangaka’s intention. This one-shot clearly aims for serialization, giving us just a glimpse of its lore. I’m genuinely curious about the direction it might take because of its story approach. It focuses more on action than character development, which is fine since it falls under the action-shonen genre. But theway the mangaka introduced the demons, the hunters, and the possibility of demon manipulation adds an intriguing layer to the worldbuilding.

So yes, you should read this one-shot. It’s only 46 pages long. And if you’re a fan of battle shonen, read it before it gets serialized.
