Two-Week Lover · review
Sono Kareshi, Kikan Gentei ni Tsuki is a very wholesome story. It's centered around Chitose, a bookworm, and Riku, ex-captain of the baseball team. They don't really seem to have anything in common, but despite that, they're on friendly terms. Still, when Riku confesses to Chitose, he is caught by surprise, as he thought his secret admirer was sure to be a cute girl younger than him instead of his baseball friend. Riku asks Chitose to go out with him for only two weeks, just to make some memories, and Chitose ends up complying. Upon the start of their two weeks timer, they start to gohome together and hang out at school more often. As they start to interact with each other and other people as a duo, Chitose's heart starts to skip a beat whenever Riku gets too close or is too straightforward about his feelings.
Chitose is a great character. Despite his shy and introverted personality, he can always speak up for himself and talk things out even if he fears the outcome, though he himself doesn't seem to realize that. Riku is the usual extroverted nice guy, tall, handsome, kind to everyone and straightforward about how he feels for Chitose (and baseball of course). Not exactly the most unique pair but they're a great company nonetheless.
Their development is more or less slow but their feelings feel sincere and natural to read. It can be a bit too romantic at times but most of the time you'll be too busy smiling to notice those.
