Devil Rock was a really interesting manga, and I've never read something quite like it before. As far as I know it hasn't been released in English, which is a shame! The concept is intriguing, and I think it was executed well, even though there were some moments where the pacing felt somewhat off. Also.. some plot twists were kind of cliché. Still, I personally had fun while reading and I think that's most important. The art was really nice, and Ayamo's design feels really unique. I especially liked how Ringo used her 'horns' to make her more expressive. Gwen one of the most visuallyinteresting characters, imho. There were comparatively few backgrounds, but the characters were detailed as hell so I don't really mind.

Ayamo was a very likeable protagonist, and I felt like the concept of somebody who is bad at what they do but refusing to drop it out of passion and love for it generally isn't explored enough, so she really was a breath of fresh air! Her excitement was contagious a lot of the time. Tite was great too, I liked the banter between him and Ayamo, and how real his lack of belief in himself felt, after having to take over Devil Drive.

Tl;dr If you have the possibility to read Devil★Rock, do it!
