The Ride-On King · review
I started reading this just for the bizarre promise, but it's better than I expected. I expected Putin as the main character of an Isekai and that's what I got, but I also got interesting, developing characters, unique world building and good art. It does contain Isekai tropes, but they are often subverted and I like that the main character uses his knowledge from his world and often tries negotiation instead of fighting everything what he sees. The manga made me laugh at least once a chapter, wich is alot for me. I'm five volumes in and still don't know if the author wants to make funof the real putin, paint him as a hero or just used him to draw in more people into what would seem like a regular Isekai at the beginning otherwise.
