I Failed to Oust the Villain! · review
Good: 1. Great Art. The main reason for the high rating. 2. Hot characters. FMC is really cute with her indifferent expression. MC.. is good enough (but the design reminds me of utsuro/shouyou sensei from Gintama). Bad: 1. Horrible pacing: Even after 26 chapters, I have no idea where the story is going. 2. Passive FMC: Abusive childhood is not a valid excuse for a boring character (especially an Isekai-ed main character). 3. lack of strong secondary cast: Almost everyone other than MC/FMC feel like background characters. Overall I am not into the yandere MC thing. According to some other reviews, this seems to be a storywhere the characters grow out of their abusive childhood trauma. But the pacing is such a slog, that I can't justify reading this anymore.
