(1 is absolutely horrible and atrocious, 5 is completely average, and 10 is a masterpiece) 7/10 This is a above average harem series that's for sure. It starts and has plenty of generic tropes, but eventually you'll see that it begins to break the mold. This has potential. I hear that it still is a slow burn series, but I've read up to chapter 38 and you can tell the characters have changed. For me, I realized that it was special on chapter 16, so perhaps read up to there. For the flaws in this series, I feel like there should be more incorporation of thefact that the heroines are essentially celebrities, and the weight that comes with their fame. The art isn't anything special either. I guess my standards aren't very high, but in conclusion, it's entertaining but can feel generic at times.
For information on the series, it is basically a food wars ripoff: there's an aspiring cook from a poor family, wowing people (women) with food. The reactions to the food are quite over the top but it hardly happens after like chapter 25. He works at a girl's dorm (because of course he does), and it's filled with aspiring athletes. There's four heroines, a tsundere, a kuudere, a tomboy, and a gyaru, each trying to become olympic athletes. The mc of course knows the perfect thing to say at the perfect time and he's incredibly dense, but it's certainly entertaining, at least in my opinion.
