It has an almost unique premise, but an execution which comes off as generic at best, or juvenile at worst. (I still liked it for a very subjective reason. Explained in the character section of the review). It is hard for me to recommend this manhwa. ▶Story: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Surface level videogame knowledge has been used by the author to create a story set in a game world that does not make much sense from a game design perspective. The premise however, which is "NPCs in an MMO have gainedsentience" is very unique. I have only ever seen this premise in [Taebaek the tutorial guy]. Neither this nor Taebaek does that idea justice.

Sadly the interesting premise is wasted on a story with your typical shounen with its battles decided by whose power of friendship is the strongest.

I have to admit that the reason I pushed through it despite it's shortcomings was because I really like the way the main character looks. I don't often come across female leads that look this badass in the genres I usually frequent (Otome Isekai).

Other than that, the main character and side characters have some character development, but nothing that stands out as praiseworthy.
Villains are given chapters of exposition showing their backstories, but these chapters are awkward and do little more than break up the flow of the story.

The art unfortunately does not help the combat look any good and it is hard to keep track in fight scenes. I do not dislike the art though, and I am particularly a fan of how the hair is drawn in this manhwa.
