Story The lack of a main story was already noticeable in the second half of the first season, but it is just getting worse with every new episode. Because there is no overarching plot, the show constantly bombards you with tons of rapid-fire side stories just to fill the runtime. Originally, this was a nice, casual anime where the MC actually planned things out and shared fun farming facts. Now, they are speedrunning through everything and cutting out the most interesting parts. The village dynamic is also tragic—basically, everyone other than the mayor (the MC) is completely useless and seems incapable of having an independent thought. Visuals Thevisuals remain on the exact same level as the first season. It is essentially "well-made mediocre"—meaning it's passable, but nothing more. There aren't any crazy fluid animations, breathtaking sceneries, or high levels of detail. The studio is just putting in the absolute bare minimum effort required to keep the production looking strictly average.
Conclusion
Is it worth watching? If you loved the first season and just want a background show where basically nothing happens, sure, go for it. However, if you expect even the smallest amount of plot progression or side characters with actual ideas of their own, you will leave completely disappointed.
