I'll be short on this one. The show tackles traumatic topics in its own way with Digimon which reflects mental state of a person (tamer). Viewer simply like it or not. Now to review the show as a Digimon show. Digimon shows were always deeper than any other similar pocket monsters show. The only difference is that now it is written on a more personal level for each main character (Cleaners, Tactics). What the show also shows is the difference between poor and rich (The egg) and the asian view of hunting great results to get better jobs and status. To conclude. The show is not a"hop on a adventure" genre. It's more mature like which makes it different.
