Here's a simple review of Fire Force, no essay bullshit like the other ones, though it's definitely gonna take like 5 minutes of your time. Story : if you compare it to other shonen manga, you'll find that it has all the typical stereotypes like not knowing if your family is dead or not, a big bad villain group hiding in the shadows and what not, although some people might find this a bit boring, it's pretty decent to me because of how well the plot holds itself together. The story is cohesive, the worldbuilding is very good, the setting is good aswell. Not much elseyou can say to the story except that it's above what you would expect from an average shonen in terms of development and premise.

Art : The art is fucking gorgeous and the fight scenes are pretty good. The mix of CGI isn't as horrible here as it is on other anime, but the CGi itself mixes in well with the animation. The fight scenes are pretty cool, it's fast paced but not too fast that you wouldn't think "what the fuck is going on right now".

Sound : I would say the soundtrack of Fire Force is definitely it's strongest feature, or atleast one of the major reasons why this anime was enjoyable, for me atleast. The op and ed on the first half of the anime are both fucking bangers, I didn't skip atleast once because it's such an enjoyable beat and you can vibe to it very well. As good as the op and ed are, the overall music is just really good in this anime, it's unlike any other shonen I watched because when you get those serious scenes, the music just fits it so well. It's not too over the top, is mostly simple and it just fits in with the scenes so well.

Characters : The character development of Shinra is pretty good I'd say, as well as the others. We got to know the backstories of the characters and their motivation on being a fire soldier. I like that at the last few episodes, Tamaki was able to fight instead of calling out for help like in the past episodes. As well as the whole Company 8 showing that they are strong and just as capable as any other company. It just shows you how much the characters progressed and how much they got strong.

Enjoyment : I really like this anime a lot, the music and the art fits in so well together and it just gave me even more enjoyment, the plot and the characters are the weakest point of the anime, but even then, I was still able to enjoy the story and it's characters.

Overall : I would say Fire Force is definitely above the average shonen anime and everything about it is pretty good. Although there were some flaws in the anime, I was able to let them slide as it didn't really affect my enjoyment of watching Fire Force.

That's all from my review, take care and peace.
