Review of Pop Team Epic

Do you like memes? Do you like anime? If yes, you'll love the show, it constantly references other anime and sometimes even video games, makes fun of anime tropes and breaks the fourth wall without fail and I consider that an accomplishment. It's pretty self aware too and insults itself. As for people who've read the web comic, the majority of the anime is just that, but, animated. They got some other animation studios, like one from France to make brand new content though, so there's new stuff even for older fans! Something that I kinda disliked at the start, is that an episode is 10 minutes long, andthe other half is the same stuff but with male voice actors, it seemed kinda lazy but now I think it's pretty understandable considering that they had to make an anime out of a 4-panel manga.
