Review of Beautiful Bones -Sakurako's Investigation-

Months ago, I think it was before June, I saw the first mention of this show. I spent the next 6 months waiting, watching every preview I could find, checking out all the promotional material, I don't think I could have gotten my self anymore hyped up for its release. And I was not disappointed, everything from the character concepts to the animation style is spot on. In a rare and rewarding way, the script writers, voice actors, sound engineers, background artists, in-between animators and very noticeably the key frame animators and the researchers came together and created a coherent and beautiful show. I really can't praiseit enough, it balances tension with humor, pain and sorrow with truth and facts (Not made up facts either). It plays out like a novel written by someone who knows what they are doing, someone who understands human interaction, understands when foils are needed and when characters should just stand out by themselves.
