Review of Noragami Aragoto
I figured I was right to expect great things from the sequel to Noragami (Stray God). I gave the first season an over all rating of 8, and predicted that I'd give the second season a 9. I was wrong... in a good way. Story: 10/10 With the setting being established and knowledge of how everything works in Noragami (first season) the story was now able to progress as much as it wanted to without confusing anyone. What I liked about this season is the character development. There were two arcs that focused on Bishamonten and Ebisu. Each arc focused on building on their assigned gods respectivelybut not without also developing the main characters as well. I love how the lead character's past life unfolded and he grew while we learnt more about Bishamon and Ebisu.
Art: 9/10
As with the first season the art was awesome, but since this season had a more action I got to see it play out with intensity and beauty regardless of the art style.
Sound: 10/10
Going along with the action sequences or the sad moments, the OST plays out really well, so you can feel the moments you watch with empathy or intensity.
Character: 10/10
As mentioned before I truly appreciated the character development in this season. I cried at the end of the Bishamon arc and I cried at the end of the Ebisu arc. When there is good character development, I feel for them and that is what I can enjoy from a well development anime character. I love anime that make me feel for the characters.
Overall 10/10
This anime developed so well for me, it went from an 8 in season one to a 10 for season two~!
This anime was so good to me, I will buy all the manga and read them. This story is so awesome, thank you very much, Adachitoka!
