*Spoiler Free *Enjoyment Rating: 9 ReLIFE overall contained moments that were extremely expected and other moments that were extremely not. Nevertheless, this anime contains several lessons that any age group can relate to on a personal level. Do not be fooled by its chill, laid back, and comedic visuals and atmosphere. But for watchers who would like to watch something chill, laid back, and comedic this anime can still be considered for you -- just expect a little bit of drama. *Story Rating: 8 As I mentioned already, this anime had moments that watchers could have already expected from simply reading the summary of the anime. The idea ofbeing able to become a high schooler again for a year in of itself an obvious comedic route. However, with the individual being a grown adult and NEET, one can imagine that such a comedic route would contain a sad ending due to the obvious time limit of one year. The grown attachment to individuals that, if you were your actual age, would get you caught in jail. Needless to say, this is where the anime takes a different turn as the main protagonist keeps this fact as a constant reminder when interacting with peers. What was unexpected were the interactions and development that watchers are shown that make this anime more dramatic.

*Art and Sound Rating: 8

I personally did not find anything unique regarding this anime's art and sound. But I did find character expressions and art style shifts during comedic moments incredibly entertaining.

*Character Rating: 9

Part of the unexpected moments in this anime had to do with character development. At first glance, each character beyond the protagonist would appear to have static characteristics that would label them as obvious side characters. The cliche character tropes in most anime are all gathered here: the loner, the oblivious one, the try hard, the talented one, the childhood friends, the glasses character, the sadist, etc. As most can be seen as side characters, each character received a fitting amount of screen time and character development that changed these static foil characters into independent and dynamic ones. It is from these characters that watchers are able to find the individual that they are able to relate to personally. Overall, with the variety of characters and situations present in this anime, the watchers will be able to relate to something on some level and accordingly receive an inspirational message as they watch the characters overcome it themselves in the anime.

*Overall Rating: 9

I personally give this anime an overall rating of 9. The comedic and dramatic genres were executed great. The pinch of romance that all anime watchers secretly want from these characters are given at a satisfying amount as well. Hoping for a season two.
