(This contain minor spoilers) One of the many movies with way too much attention to animations and graphics in general than the actual writing. The characters are boring, the main is just some drama boy with issues that "Magically" turns into a strategic genius halfway thru the story because that makes sense somehow; Just like how suddenly he makes crazy radical decisions involving his people and everyone just goes "Yup, sure, whatever you say boss" no objections. The plan of overthrowing the current world state is...like...how do I say...nonsense? it's based on something crazy that has no guarantee to work the way the main protagonist expects yet "Somehow"it ends up working more or less exactly as planned.

It's so frustrating on just how bad the writing, the characters and the plot are; This is the typical writing (just like in the anime) of someone less smart than the characters he tries to write, so he resort to all sort of tricks to show how smart his characters are without actually showing anything really smart - either the action stays vague OR the things happens exactly how the protagonist expected, which is completely BS especially in this movie where is utterly unrealistic for this character to know so much to be able to predict to such precision what happens, it's just....dumb.

The relationship between the two main characters, one of which is a robot, is...the typical pseudo-psychological / philosophical crap you expect to read on some obscure Facebook group of people who think themselves to be too smart for this world - it's so cliché and so nonsense all the time that's frustrating to watch - I hate just how poorly robot characters with a computerized brain function like people with autism instead of functioning as machines... it's so annoying and frustrating, did I already said frustrating?

Oh yeah, the ONE relevant fighting scene it's good, very nicely animated BUT completely ruined by the overly-emotional tones...that comes from a frigging MACHINE for God's sake she is a MACHINE, you either have a goddam gigantic planet-size good excuse to make her like an emotional teenager or you don't; All that emotional BS only hinders an otherwise good animated fight.
