Review of Parasyte: The Maxim

Okay let me begin by saying this is not for the lighthearted people that think : "Oh I heard about this anime.Might check it out"...I mean come on there's a damn HORROR mark... So the story is nice I guess....but is trying to hard to be everything.If you want to be horror..then dont mix in romance.If you want people to think the deep plot it has dont go all about friendship and stuff.The story was very unclear and just felt like many ideas were thrown there to make random plot.The ending tho..it was so bad...it could go in so many directions..but nope...one ofthe worst endings.Also most of your(mine but maybe yours too) favourite characters will get killed...so yeah...dont like the characters.

The art was in fact good..I liked it but for a horror anime it had too much blood and too less actual cut,sliced meat and organs and such(dont judge me...).Also the fight scenes( except maybe one or two) were way too short.

Sound was maybe this anime's strongest point.I enjoyed the OP and ED.Character voices weren't bad either...so yeah the anime's strong point in my opinion.

The characters were all clichee's and none had an original design.The MC who starts as a crybaby but gets badass,the clingy girl who fell in love (spoiler she died..ha) with the MC and the protective and allways worried girlfriend.The other characters felt more original but had little bit of screen time so I wont talk about them.

I..I cant say I enjoyed nor didnt enjoy this anime..but I can say it left me with mixed feeling from "Woah this is so good" at the beginning and "WTF why did I watch this" at the end..but wait HEAR ME OUT.Watch this for yourself as many find it great and see it in a different light as I do.So yeah go check it out.
