Review of Sword Art Online

It irritates me how so many people are rating SAO at a 3 or 5 when they probably did not pay attention AT ALL to the storyline and character development. And to people complaining about time skips, would you rather see SAO drag for so long for like 50 episodes? Because those people will complain either way. SAO is truly a masterpiece, the characters are awesome and there is plenty of development between Kirito and the other characters. It's a shame that people insult the characters when they don't see the true effect of being trapped in a virtual world. I highly enjoyed everything throughoutthe Aincrad Arc, the fight scenes were awesome, and there were moments where each character had many fears and inner conflicts with themselves, but the theme of working together and strong relationships is very important, especially when being trapped in a virtual world for a very long time. The characters played a vital role in the efforts to escape SAO. This anime will live in my heart forever and other people would feel the same way if they took the time to pay attention and understand that being in the virtual world for a very long time has a really huge effect, and there are many little lessons along the way that are very important. It doesn't deserve the hate it receives today.
