I haven't written many reviews but this is a manhwa that I felt needed to be reviewed because of how it turned out. Throughout most of its lifetime, this manhwa was pretty decent. The art and story weren't bad; worthy of a score of 6 at the time. The thing that absolutely tanked it was the horrible ending. And I'm not exaggerating when I say the ending was horrible. If you know the ending of Oshi no Ko, think 100x worse. They literally went with the Patrick Star ending of "Then everyone died, the end." To not spoil too much, the ending has the main charactersent forward in time after he "sacrificed" himself to save the world. The problem is that all of humanity has died. The reason? All his allies turned on each other for power. Pretty crappy ending since nothing alluded to that being a possible outcome.
He's not completely alone though because he discovers another human survived. It's his love interest—which I say loosely—that survived through cryostasis(?). It also isn't explained WHY she's the only one who survived.
Andddd..... scene.
Yep, thats it. The mc learns he isn't the only human left and the two smile at each other. The story literally ends there. No epilogue showing what happens. For all we know, they could've died a week later in the unfamiliar world they find themselves in.
So yeah. I'd say avoid reading this 170 chapter manhwa with an ending fit for a jester instead of a king and find something better to fill your time.
