Composing Spring in This Room Where Cherry Blossoms Bloom · review
If I were to describe this manga in one word it would be: Overcoming. This one made me cry more than a few times, it's strenght is on their character dialogue that it was perfectly written to hit where it really needs to hit, but it a really soft and tender way. Weird experience for sure. Sadly it's art is sometimes not on par but it's generally okay. A panel could really hit hard or feel very bland. Still, the art was a great company to the god-like dialogues. Story wise it's pretty much linear but it has it's good moments, albeit plagued with "girl goes toX place to see X thing" moments.
Characters is kind of lackluster, but Haruki does her job very well and Kaede is a good addition to the story. Every character interaction is a delight to the eyes.
Overall, 8/10. It deals with grief in a very real way and it's a great tearjerker.
