"Walk to Death" is a thoroughly enjoyable and extremely well-done manga. Think Final Destination, if Final Destination was a psychological horror thriller. The story is gripping from the very first page all the way through to the end, and all along the way the reader is left guessing and what is real, what is fiction, and just what on earth is going on with Tokiko Kurosu. There's not an aspect of this manga that isn't interesting. What's going on with the main character? Are the deaths an accident, or are they something darker? Will your favorite make it to the end of the manga? And all the while, the manga is exploring each character's relationship with death and with each other.

The story starts at about a 4 on the intensity scale, quickly escalates to a 9, and then holds it there for the entire runtime of the manga until the end. There's not a moment of this manga that feels unnecessary or out of place, and the ending is simultaneously both expected and satisfying all in one.

Absolutely worth recommending. Would read again.
