Yaoi is not typically my thing but I do read a few. Caste Heaven I say is unique from Yaoi's I've read before and it is definitely not for the faint heart. It's no sunshine and rainbows but instead twisted, yet it's rather interesting. Before reading the manga, better be sure your mind is ready and open. STORY >>>The plot isn't perfect, but the concept of the game is rather fresh and intriguing. It's a game that raises an eyebrow but nonetheless interesting since it is linked to the Stanford Experiment. Moreover, it's interesting how the game is exploited by the characters in various ways, someto their advantage. In the future chapters, hopefully more details about the game will be explored.

ART >>> The panels and characters are well drawn so we can get a little something from their facial expressions at least.

CHARACTERS >>> The characters are different from the 'romantic/sweet' type or the 'general' type so if you're looking for those kind of characters then this manga is not for you. Instead the characters are somewhat dark, and their 'intentions' maybe confusing (specially for one MC) but the other MCs inner strength is something I adore.

ENJOYMENT >>> Caste Heaven is something I normally don't like but the concept and the characters (and their development) are engaging enough. It's also interesting to crack one's head into figuring out what could it be that drives the characters behind their actions. I look forward to reading the next chapters.

Overall, it's a manga wherein you either love it or hate it.
