Strobe in the Dark · review
I fell in love with this Bl. The plot, the art and the characters are absolutely cute. The story seems to be a cliché because of the childhood friend theme but it's a cliché well done. I was impressed by how it was realistic not like some BL which the subject of homosexuality is not developped. I love the fact that Arata hides his feelings for Shoutaro because of the fear of what other people might think. He's not only protecting himself but also protecting Shoutaro. I think the art is the main factor for the cuteness of the story, especially the faces: you can tell justby looking at their faces what they are feeling.
This is a really great manga. I had so much fun reading the sweetness of the story. Since this is a shounen-ai, there’s no explicit scenes shown which can disappoint some yaoi fans. But I think what’s more important here is that, the story is told with great care and the relationship feels true.
Sincerely, just read it and you'll understand what's a masterpiece.
