It's been years since I last watched a season of monogatari and I was left speechless at how easily the team at shaft was able to immediately make me fall in love with the series again. The art direction, atmospheric soundtrack, writing and character development, occasional comedy, and references to previous entries are making this a joy to watch. Before watching this I had mixed feelings about Nadeko as a character (not for her writing or anything, just her actions in the past, etc.) but she's now easily one of my favorite characters. The way they develop her character in such few episodes is masterful. Its impossibleto touch on all of the things done incredibly well in this season, but suffice to say if you've appreciated monogatari in the past this is an absolute treat.
