At first, you might think, ‘Oh no, not another martial arts webtoon with a vengeful hero who travels back in time.’ That's what I thought too. I couldn't have been more wrong. Absolute Regression is one of, if not the best martial arts webtoon I've read so far, and I've read loads of them. The main character is a breath of fresh air in a storm of webtoons with unbearable main characters obsessed with revenge. The secondary characters are not to be outdone; they are beautifully developed, and the relationships they have with each other and with the main character are at the heart of the story.The story takes its time and may seem slow, yet each chapter ends too quickly. The drawings are among the most beautiful in any webtoon, and the landscapes are so beautiful that they look like paintings.
