A Small Sheep Dreams · review
A quirky shoujo manga from the 2000s! I love the solid artstyle and the light-hearted storytelling - there is something about the naïveté of these young girls in each story that makes you wanna root for them, however silly their thoughts and motives are. The stories aren't very deep - just a dessert to sweeten your tastebuds once in a while. Some scenes can have quite risqué elements so I suppose the mangaka did a nice job of balancing the rose-tinted glass of the youth with their propensity for recklessness. So in some moments, readers may have a sense of realism hitting - "Iknew a couple back in high school/uni who was just like this!"
Pretty cute and cool how universal human experiences can be.
