Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

Okay if you do not like slice of life & calm category then this anime is not for you. I'll share my insights through pros & cons: PROS: 1. The animation is very good. The world building is good. Scenery & drawing are so good it can make a non anime watcher watch it. 2. Story telling in a way you would understand everything is also good. 3. It can help you relax. 4. Characters are unique & you feel emotions for them. CONS: 1. Mostly the main characters are quiet & they don't speak or express much which can be frustrating. One character can be like that but here youhave 2 MC (Frieren & Fern)_ who don't speak 90% of the time; of which one doesn't have emotions because she is an elf & their kind doesn't procreate or anything.
2. Most of the main story is happening in past!! This is the main issue. Whatever story is being narrated is of people who don't have much to do with current story- one of them is dead, another is irrelevant & third one is somewhat relevant. Its all Frieren thinking about past. So it feels all like- why should I be invested in the past? The story is convincing but irrelevant.
3. Frieren is the main hero & she can do anything. There's less challenge.
