I guess I will be the odd sheep among all of the reviewers, but I am giving this a 10. Honestly, I don't really want to be strict, neither will this review be long. To be honest, the last episode has made up for everything that kept deterring me from watching every time an episode came out, but I still did. Mainly because I am not really a fan of slice of life, but end up watching them here and there anyways. To begin with, the premise is pretty simple - we have a manga artist who draws lewd manga. He doesn't want his daughter tofind out and does his best to act that he is an office worker and pulls his assistants into the act as well.

Talking about the rest is impossible due to the spoilers. However, I might tell you that if you have a daughter, there is a pretty high chance that she will be interested in the same things as you were as a person. I believe this anime depicts this very well. In so many ways, Hime is very similar to Goto in her own ways. She is incredibly kind, composed, considerate and caring. So is Goto-sensei.

It is a pretty silly anime about Goto going through various experiences worrying about his daughter and trying to keep away his secret from her. Every episode though, we get to see a little sneak peek of the current timeline and what is going to happen. Not very detailed, but we can make out a lot of stuff about it. And only during the last episode we finally get a full focus on the present. A ton of stuff gets revealed to us and it's not so easy to take it all in very quickly.

What can I say else? Characters are great, I loved Rasuna for her maturity, concern and attitude towards Goto. I wished she ended up with Goto-sensei due to her knowledge, help and care in terms of Goto-san. I have not read the manga and I do not have any knowledge what happens further, but that is my take.

My enjoyment was great, but everything was topped off during the last episode. It was a great experience about the father-daughter relationship and especially how opinions of other people affect families and individuals. It truly makes me sad how true-to-life it is.

I believe that everyone should watch Kakushigoto at some point and understand how their words, actions and opinions affect others. If you have the patience to watch the anime, you will have the patience to become a better human-being as well.
