Review of Chainsaw Man

Definitely deserving of the hype! Story 9/10 Compelling, absurd and funny, there's nothing more to ask for. World building is done in a way that leaves you excited for what's to come. Comedy is definitely better animated than in the manga, though this is mostly due to there being voice acting, which helps a ton in delivering lines. Literally, the perfect cutoff point for the first season since the rest of the series will be a notable downgrade story-wise. Art 9/10 Beautifully done CG, but still not perfect. Fights often have a bit too many close-up shots, but that's about the only complaint you can have about the animation. Characters9/10
Really enjoyable characters, with a multitude of personalities. Some are serious, some just goof off, others are mysterious, the list goes on. Denji and Power goofing off is so fun I wouldn't mind if the whole series was based around that.

Sound 9/10
Good music and really well done environmental sounds. Every episode has a unique ending song which is maybe just as exciting to look forward to as the actual episode. Great voice acting which shines the most in the mentioned goof off moments.

Can't recall a moment that I didn't enjoy watching.

Just a great watch in all aspects.
