Review of My Clueless First Friend

The animation is fine, fairly average. There really isn't any flashy animation, but motion is fairly fluid. There are some decent backgrounds, but the art style used for the backgrounds is inconsistent. Character detail while stylized, is still fairly basic. Certain details are inconsistent from frame to frame, but very rarely. The characters are fairly likeable, with the exception of Takada who is fairly annoying. There is some character depth with Nishimura, but otherwise not a whole lot of depth. Story is fairly basic, but fun. Pacing is rather slow, but not unbearably slow. Voice acting is decent. While the performances are unimpressive, the castingis decent, and despite being an anime about children there really aren't any characters that are grating to listen to... well Takada is, but not because of the voice acting. The soundtrack is pretty average, the op is okay, but the ed is great. Overall it's a fun and cute anime, but not really all that special in any way. It's also weird to see a romance develope between 5th graders, but at least it's just puppy love. 6.00/10
