Review of Wonder Egg Priority: My Priority

Don't want to be mean,but whoever wrote this special,and whoever agreed to this writing needs to be fired and banned from anime to be honest. I'm so sick of anime originals getting butt fucked by the last episode since no one knows how to write a good ending anymore.. Everything that I feared Wonder Egg would do at the end is basically what happens. One of the big problems I had with the TV show is that it didn't make sense and a lot wasn't explained by the end.It felt like the special was aware of that then it just says “Haha suck my wonder egg dick”and the special raises even more questions.No amount of explanation will ever make sense anymore.
The only and I mean only things that get explained was the reason behind Koito’s death which was just the fucking worst examples of writing I have seen in 4ever.And the effect of the end of the tv series doesnt even matter.And that hurts because the end of the tv series was what the entire show from the beginning built up to.So basically the special makes the entire show not even matter.
The characters change so quickly and scenes feel so disconnected to the point where I basically had no idea what was even happening. Ai yeets her phone off her balcony killing a random civilian. Neiru’s character explanation is basically so incomprehensible, i can't even describe it.Rika is a bitch as usual, then she just gets super depressed..because...teens be sad....And the only decent moment was when Momoe got off a train because she secretly knew that she didn't want to be apart of this goddamn trainwreck of an ending.

And what really blindsided me was the fact that this special was supposed to be the “Special episode serving as the conclusion to the anime series.” THE.SPECIAL EPISODE. Serving as the .CONCLUSION……./kənˈklo͞oZHən/…..as in “the end or finish of an event or process.” to the anime series.

Bitch.

This isnt an ending.

The end of the special felt like it was half an episode of content. And then Ai does her kawaii Nixon pose, and then BOOM, end credits.You should've seen my face when those credits came on. I looked like Surprised Patrick sitting on the edge of that cliff in the spongebob movie.

To be honest, I have seen a fair share of awful anime endings,at the time I thought that Babylon had the worst ending to an anime. Yeeeeaaaaah I'm gonna have to give that title to this.Its just I have never seen a special make everything in the show preceding it a joke and a waste of time.I do have a review of the tv series on my review page as well, if you're interested,and if this is the first review you see from me.Just know, I am not usually this harsh on anime reviews,this is just the case of a special that is just inexcusably bad.
