Review of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc

Yes, the animation and art in this show is untouchable when it comes to quality. It's mind boggling to watch because of how they integrate CGI and 2D animation. But that's not the only reason I love this show. The character design is actually amazing, we may get distracted with how extreme Zenitsu and Inosuke are in terms of personality. You could say that's also because of Tanjirou's relaxed nature that makes them even more drastic. However when you really pay attention to the look and attitudes of the other characters you can tell a lot of creativity and context went into them. I LOVEDaki's design it was so fitting for the type of Arc it was.
The story was also amazing, usually we can predict what will happen in a Shounen because they tend to follow a similar pattern but towards the end it became much harder to know what was going to happen. The situation actually feels "desperate" which is hard to pull off when we know the characters will live. But really I love it when a show can make me feel for the antagonist. When they can make me connect with someone I'm supposed to hate and that's what really makes this show for me.
