This season is a massive improvement. If you didn't watch the previous season, you will still need to do so in order to understand the story, but past that point, it only gets better. - Animation and Sound The animation quality is much better. Not only the fight scenes, but overall movements and scenery became clearer and more fluid, sound effects also are present as well as drastically better compared to first season. The impact is there, the fights are there, everything's alright. Although some effects did sound out of place sometimes, which could definitely be improved, it didn't stand out enough to ruin the immersion. However,you can clearly feel their need to add comedy to the show sometimes.

- Story and Characters
Surprisingly, the story isn't rushed and moves at a relatively good pace. You have enough time to understand what is going on and piece the puzzle together as you go. Furthermore, the episode length has become twice as much compared to the previous season, which has drastically improved the experience. We actually experience character development, we see certain characters grow and start understanding each other despite their desperate rival issues regarding love.

Even though the story ends up on a massive plot twist, it was very well placed and executed. Neither did I expect it, nor thought it would happen that way. That massive twist literally forces you to watch season 3 as soon as possible, which means the story did captivate me. Definitely recommended.
